人在瑞典--ppcorn

他提了很多建議給我，如果我是他的下屬，我會覺得我給他罵的狗血淋頭，履歷上沒有一樣東西是可以看的，這真的一點也不誇張。我不會說自己受到污辱，只是當下自己覺得超難過，有很多地方是自己真的很糟，但是有些地方真的就是文化不同，考慮的出發點也不一樣。不過我並沒有解釋那麼多，把交出去的CV拿回來，臨走之前，我和他要了一張名片，他遞給我，然後和我說，＂六個月之號告訴我你在哪裡！”

旁邊的展示桌上，有放著公司的小贈品，是一架小飛機，我拿了一台，原本要他在上面簽名的，不過被他拒絕了，一方面或許也是他在和別人說話，只說再寫信給我。

六個月之後，是八月十五號，我沒有寫信給他。一個月之後，我還是沒有；兩個月之後，我還是沒有，但是我一直把這件事情深深的放在心裡面。一直到今天，我確定了自己的未來和找到工作，我寫信給他了……

“My status update”

“Dear Andrew,

   How are you? I am Yuting, maybe you already forget me. I should write

this mail to you three months ago.

   We met at CHARM event in Chalmers, Sweden in March. That was the second

day of CHARM. I gave you my CV and started to look at the book for the

master thesis searching. Then, we talked and you gave me lots of

advices for my CV. My CV was really really bad. Finally, I took back my

CV and you said to me, "tell me where you are after six months." And

this is the reason I wrote you this mail and said I am three months

late.

   Three months before, I got a opportunity to write my thesis for a

communication company called "ZyXEL" But this is not the thing I would

like to tell you after six months, and I was not ready. Three months

after, I think I can tell you where I am and where I will be. Now, I am

still writing my thesis for ZyXEL and going to present on 19th of Jan.

And I got a job offer in Germany. It is an international consulting

company and my position is "business analyst" since I do not have any

work experience before, starting from the basic level. So, this is what

I want to tell you now.

   It is a pity that I will stay in Taiwan for following months, or I will

definitely see you again in CHARM. But no matter what, I really want to

say thank you to you, thank you for kick me out of my world and open my

eyes.

   Enclosed is my CV, hope you can look at it again. I hope it is better

than last time.

大概過了半小時左右，我就收到了他的回信……

“Yuting,

Many thanks for the email.  I find it really touching. It is so nice to 

have made a difference.

In fact I will not be at the Charm Fair this year as I have given in my 

notice at Amadeus after 11 years service but Amadeus will be there.

I will be moving to a new company in the New Year where I have to hire 400 people.

I certainly notice a marked improvement in the CV.  I hope that you have 

great success - you really seem to have turned things around.
